Our Company, through its team of experts trained and equipped with innovative equipment, is already implementing a system of Bio-decontamination for its clients, a process consisting in rendering any substances of potentially dangerous biological origin present in the environment harmless through the use of vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP).
A technical description of the ENVIRONMENT SATURATION SYSTEM – Disinfection of an environment is carried out by the spraying of a chemical disinfectant based on stabilized hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Vaporized hydrogen peroxide is universally acknowledged to be the most effective method of the reduction of bacterial load also in the form of spores and/or endospores. It is atomized in the environment into micro particles. This exponentially increases the contact surface, amplifying the disinfection action with shorter contact times, ensuring an optimal microbial reduction.
Gas spreads rapidly in the environment and at the same time produces the hydroxyl radicals OH- responsible for the biocidal action of the product. In fact, as soon as the highly oxidizing hydroxylic radicals meet the membranes of the bacteria that contain Calcium and Sodium Chloride, they deposit, and the OH- ion transforms the chemically stable chlorine of the membrane into active chlorine, causing the destruction of the bacterial membrane and inhibiting the bacterium itself the possibility of regeneration.
This treatment does not generate the formation of Flying Organic Compounds and its degradation is rapid and higher than 99.99% in a very short time (20 minutes). The hydrogen peroxide-only compound spreads evenly over every square centimeter of free surface in the environment and for every volume of air without generating moisture, corrosion or residues.
The small size of the disinfectant compounds increases the nucleation effect at the level of cytoplasm of micro-organisms. This is why the bactericidal effect is increased by 1 million times. The rapid decomposition of OH- radicals in H2O and O2 makes the compound non-toxic and non-cancerous for personnel not permitted during atomization, but highly efficient against viruses and bacteria.
In addition, the use of hydrogen peroxide in the perfect concentrations of the products used ensures the absence of corrosivity both on the materials present in the premises and the climate systems to be treated. VHP or Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide systems are now widely used in pharmaceutical and health environments for bio-decontamination of environments and insulators.
